This is good for helping you improve hand-eye co-ordination.
SETTING UP: All you need is your hockey stick and a ball - you can even practice this drill in your back garden.
AIM: See how many times you can keep the ball in the air by tapping it with your stick.
Make a note of your score so you can record your improvement.
PRACTICE: Don't just use the flat side your stick, and try spicing the drill up by playing a tennis version with a mate.
Tap the ball three times then pass to your friend who will do the same and then pass it back to you.
Pick up points if your opponent lets the ball hit the floor.
