Passing and tackling are important skills for any hockey player to master.
Because piggy in the middle puts you under a bit of pressure, it will really help your technique when it comes to a match.
SETTING UP: You need five players for this drill. Lay out a square about 10m by 10m using some cones or other objects.
One player will be positioned on each of the four corners and one in the middle.
AIM: Players on the corner of the square pass to each other while the middle player tries to intercept the ball.
PRACTICE: The player whose pass is intercepted becomes the new piggy in the middle.
